Tiniteqilaaq Heliport (TQI)

Tiniteqilaaq Heliport is a small domestic helistop serving the settlement of Tiniteqilaaq, also known as Tiilerilaaq, in the Sermersooq municipality of southeastern Greenland. It provides an essential air connection for a small east-coast community on the edge of the Ammassalik region.

The heliport is served by Air Greenland helicopter flights, primarily connecting Tiniteqilaaq with Tasiilaq, the regional centre of the Ammassalik area. Scheduled flights are short, and the helicopter link forms part of the wider transport network for remote settlements in eastern Greenland.

Located within the settlement, the helistop sits at an elevation of about 5 metres and is within easy walking distance of village homes, the local shop, guesthouses and the coast. Because there are no roads linking Tiniteqilaaq to other towns, travel in and out depends mainly on helicopter, with boat connections used during the summer season.

As a remote helistop, passenger facilities are intentionally simple, with a compact landing and waiting area rather than a full terminal building. The heliport keeps the settlement connected to Tasiilaq and onward routes via Kulusuk and the rest of Greenland.
