Tianshui Maijishan Airport is the main commercial airport serving Tianshui, Gansu Province, and provides a convenient air gateway to the Maijishan Grottoes, one of the region's most visited cultural sites. It opened to commercial flights in September 2008 after being developed as a military and public dual-use airport.
Located in Maiji District about 14 km from central Tianshui, the airport handles domestic services and connects the city with key hubs in northwest China, including routes to Xi'an, Lanzhou, Chongqing and Tianjin.
