Santarém – Maestro Wilson Fonseca International Airport is the main airport serving Santarém, a city in western Pará in Brazil's Amazon region. It connects the city with major Brazilian hubs and serves as a gateway to the Tapajós and Amazon river areas.
Opened on 31 March 1977, the airport was renamed in 2006 in honour of Wilson Fonseca, a local musician, composer and poet. It is operated by Aena Brasil and has a single passenger terminal that has undergone renovation and modernisation to improve passenger capacity.
