About Reus Airport
Reus Airport (REU) is a small international airport serving Reus, Tarragona and the Costa Daurada region of Catalonia. Its origins date back to 1935, when the Reus Flying Club built the first landing strip, and the airport has served exclusively civil aviation since the late 1990s.
Located about 3 km southeast of Reus and roughly 13 km from Tarragona, the airport is a seasonal gateway for holiday traffic heading to coastal resorts such as Salou, Cambrils and La Pineda, as well as PortAventura World. A single passenger terminal handles all flights, with check-in desks on the ground floor and a boarding area opened in 2010.
The airport has been progressively modernised, with a new arrivals building added in 2005, a combined check-in terminal completed in 2008 and a terminal extension finished in 2021. Public buses, taxis and rental cars connect the airport with Reus, Tarragona and the surrounding coastal towns.
Facilities include cafés, restaurants, a duty-free shop, free Wi-Fi and accessibility services, making it a compact and convenient entry point for the Costa Daurada.
