Región de Murcia International Airport is the main international airport serving the city of Murcia and the wider Region of Murcia in south-eastern Spain. Opened in January 2019, it took over as the region's primary commercial airport and is also known as Murcia-Corvera Airport.
Located about 25 km south of Murcia city centre near the villages of Corvera and Valladolises, the airport provides convenient access to Cartagena, the Mar Menor and the resorts of the Costa Cálida. It handles domestic routes and international flights, with particular links to the United Kingdom, Ireland and other European destinations.
The airport has a single modern terminal arranged over two levels, with check-in and arrivals on the ground floor and boarding gates on the upper level. Its compact layout keeps walking distances short, and passenger signage is provided in Spanish, English and German.
