Porbandar Airport is a public airport serving Porbandar, a coastal city in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, India. Operated by the Airports Authority of India, it acts as a small domestic gateway for travelers visiting the city and nearby coastal areas.
Located about 5 km east of central Porbandar, the airport is close to the city centre and the main road network. The current terminal building opened in April 2008 and covers around 4,000 square metres, with a compact layout designed for domestic arrivals and departures.
The airport is connected to central Porbandar by taxi, auto-rickshaw, private transfer and car rental, providing straightforward onward travel to the city and surrounding parts of Gujarat.
Scheduled domestic passenger services restarted in March 2025 with direct flights to Mumbai, while the small terminal keeps the airport experience relatively quick and easy compared with larger Indian hubs.
