About Andorra–La Seu d'Urgell Airport
Andorra–La Seu d'Urgell Airport serves La Seu d'Urgell, the Catalan Pyrenees and the principality of Andorra. It is located in the municipality of Montferrer i Castellbò, about 6 km from La Seu d'Urgell and roughly 28 km by road from Andorra la Vella.
The airfield opened in 1982 and operated commercial flights until 1984, then reopened for general aviation in 2010 and began its current public airport phase in January 2015. Today it is served by regional flights to Madrid and Palma de Mallorca, with a single compact passenger terminal and a 1,267-metre runway suited to aircraft such as the ATR 72.
Onward travel from the airport is road-based. Free parking is available at the terminal, while pre-booked transfers, shuttle buses, taxis and rental cars connect passengers to La Seu d'Urgell, Andorra la Vella and Pyrenean ski and mountain destinations.
Passenger facilities include free Wi-Fi, a cafeteria-restaurant and a small waiting area, while hotels, shops and other services are found in nearby La Seu d'Urgell. Its compact size keeps walking distances short between check-in, security and boarding.
Terminal Overview
Terminals
Andorra–La Seu d'Urgell Airport operates a single compact passenger terminal for all scheduled flights.
