About Phuket International Airport
Phuket International Airport is the only airport on Phuket island and the main gateway to Thailand's Andaman coast. Operated by Airports of Thailand, it is the country's third busiest airport and serves as a key entry point for leisure and business travelers heading to Phuket and nearby islands.
Located in Mai Khao in the north of Phuket, around 32 km from Phuket Town, the airport operates separate international and domestic terminal buildings with a single runway.
