Phitsanulok Airport is the main airport serving Phitsanulok city and the wider Phitsanulok Province in lower northern Thailand. The airport functions as a domestic gateway, connecting the region to Bangkok through regular scheduled services operated by Nok Air, Thai AirAsia and Thai Lion Air.
The airport opened in 1941 and originally served as a Royal Thai Air Force base before developing into the civil airport used today. It is operated by the Department of Airports and remains a joint civil-military facility, with a single 3,000-metre asphalt runway that supports Airbus A320-type aircraft.
The passenger terminal is a compact two-level building with check-in, security, arrivals, baggage claim and basic passenger facilities. It sits around 5 km south of central Phitsanulok, making the city centre and its main railway station a short drive away.
