Phaplu Airport is a small domestic airport serving Phaplu and the nearby district headquarters of Salleri in Solukhumbu District, Koshi Province. The airport sits within Solu Dudhkunda Municipality at an elevation of about 2,468 metres and has a single asphalt runway that was blacktopped in 2013. Scheduled flights operated by Nepal Airlines, Tara Air and Summit Air connect Phaplu with Kathmandu, with operations generally limited to daylight morning hours.
