Palacios Airport (PCH)

Palacios Airport is a small public airstrip serving the village of Palacios in the Gracias a Dios Department of northeastern Honduras. It provides a basic air link for domestic and light-aircraft flights to remote communities along the Caribbean coast and in the La Mosquitia region.

The airfield has a single unpaved grass runway, designated 10/28 and approximately 900 metres long, and sits on the south side of a lagoon about 0.8 kilometres from the Caribbean shore. It has no formal commercial passenger terminal, and operations are generally handled on a small scale.

Located in a remote coastal area, the airport is best reached by small aircraft or locally arranged transport. Road and public transport options are limited, so visitors should confirm transfers before travelling.

Despite its minimal facilities, the airport remains a practical access point for residents and visitors travelling to Palacios and nearby Mosquitia communities.
