Ölgii Airport is the main airport serving Ölgii, the capital of Bayan-Ölgii Province in far western Mongolia. It connects the province with Ulaanbaatar and provides an air gateway for travelers visiting the Altai region and the area’s predominantly Kazakh communities.
The airport lies about 5 km from the centre of Ölgii and operates through a single compact passenger terminal.
