About Nanning Wuxu International Airport
Nanning Wuxu International Airport is the main airport serving Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China. Opened in 1962, it has grown into a key regional aviation hub with a strategic focus on connections toward Southeast Asia.
Located about 32 km southwest of central Nanning in Wuxu Town, Jiangnan District, the airport handles domestic and international passenger services. Terminal 2 opened in September 2014 and became the main operating terminal, providing check-in, security, arrivals, shopping, dining and passenger facilities within a modern complex.
Ground transport links include airport shuttle buses, taxis and ride-hailing services, as well as an underground high-speed railway station opened in December 2022. Wuxu Airport Station connects the terminal directly to Nanning and other destinations on the Nanning–Pingxiang high-speed railway, with a short indoor transfer between the station and terminal.
With lounges, restaurants, cafés, shops, Wi-Fi, charging points and accessibility services, the airport functions as a practical gateway for travelers arriving in or departing from southern China.
