Nanchang Changbei International Airport (KHN)

Nanchang Changbei International Airport is the main airport serving Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, and the surrounding Poyang Lake region. Opened in 1999, it has grown into an important domestic and international gateway for central China, connecting the area to major cities across the country and selected regional and international routes.

The airport is located approximately 28 km north of central Nanchang. It operates two passenger terminals: Terminal 2, which handles domestic flights, and Terminal 1, which serves international and regional flights. This dual-terminal setup supports a steady flow of business and leisure travelers throughout the year.

Ground access has improved considerably in recent years. Nanchang Metro Line 1 now extends to the airport, with a station within walking distance of Terminal 2, while airport buses, taxis, private transfers, and road links provide further connections to the city centre and nearby areas.

With passenger facilities including dining, shopping, lounges, and onward travel services, the airport functions as a convenient starting point for visitors travelling to Nanchang and destinations across Jiangxi.
