About Mohammed V International Airport
Mohammed V International Airport is the main international gateway to Casablanca and one of Morocco's busiest airports. It connects the city and the surrounding Casablanca-Settat region with domestic and international destinations, serving both leisure and business travellers.
The airport first opened in 1943 as a military airfield and has since developed into a major North African aviation hub. It now operates two passenger terminals: Terminal 1, used mainly by Royal Air Maroc and its partner airlines, and Terminal 2, which serves other airlines.
Located about 27 km southwest of central Casablanca in the Nouaceur area, the airport is linked to the city by the ONCF rail network, with direct trains to Casa-Voyageurs and Casa-Port stations, as well as taxis, buses, private transfers and road connections.
Inside the terminals, travellers can use restaurants, cafés, shops, duty-free, lounges, free Wi-Fi, charging points and other passenger services, making onward travel to Casablanca and other Moroccan destinations straightforward.
