Tan Tan Airport, also known as Plage Blanche Airport, serves the town of Tan-Tan and the wider Guelmim-Oued Noun region in southern Morocco. Opened in 1975, it has long supported both civil and military aviation and remains a small but useful gateway to this part of the Atlantic coast.
The airport lies about 7 km west of central Tan-Tan, close to National Route N1, which links the town with Guelmim, Laayoune and other destinations in the south. Royal Air Maroc connects Tan-Tan with Casablanca on a limited domestic schedule, making the airport a practical entry point for travellers continuing to the town and nearby coastal and desert areas.
The facility has a single runway and one compact passenger terminal, with basic check-in, arrivals and parking areas. Its size keeps walking distances short, and onward travel by taxi, private transfer or rental car is straightforward from the terminal.
Because of its location near the Atlantic coast and the edge of the Sahara, the airport also supports regional travel and occasional light aviation.
