About Manang Airport
Manang Airport is a small domestic airport serving the Manang district in Nepal's Gandaki Province. Located in the Marsyangdi valley at Humde, it provides access to the Annapurna Circuit trekking region and nearby settlements including Manang town and Chame.
The airport opened in 1981 and sits at an elevation of roughly 3,350 metres, making it one of the highest airfields in Nepal. It has a single blacktopped runway, and while regular scheduled flights have been limited in recent years, the airport has supported chartered, helicopter and emergency operations.
Manang Airport lies about 2.5 kilometres east of Manang town and is reached by local roads and trekking routes through the district. Travelers continuing further can connect toward Chame, Besisahar, Pokhara and other Annapurna region destinations by road, private transfer or chartered flight.
