Malakal International Airport is the main airport serving Malakal, a city in Upper Nile State, South Sudan, and is the smaller of the country's two international airports. It acts as a key air link for the Upper Nile region and supports passenger, humanitarian and United Nations-related operations.
The airport was established in 1934 and is located immediately north of Malakal's central business district, close to Upper Nile University.
