Luiza Airport (LZA)

Luiza Airport is a small local airfield serving the town of Luiza in Kasaï-Central Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. It supports general aviation and local flights within a rural part of the province, acting as a modest regional gateway for Luiza Town and the wider Luiza Territory.

Located around 200 km by road south of Kananga, the provincial capital, the airport sits in an area served mainly by Route Nationale 39. It has a single unpaved runway and limited passenger infrastructure, with no scheduled commercial airline services operating on a regular basis.

Ground access to the airfield is primarily by road, with onward journeys continuing toward Luiza town, nearby communities and Kananga. Private transfers, chauffeur services, rental vehicles and group road transport can be arranged for arriving or departing travelers.

Because the airfield is small and remote, passengers should expect basic facilities and limited commercial amenities, while planning their onward travel in advance.
