About Lishui Airport
Lishui Airport is the main airport serving Lishui and the surrounding southwestern Zhejiang region. It opened on 18 July 2025, giving the area its first direct commercial air link and filling a long-standing gap in the regional aviation network.
Located in Nanmingshan Street in Liandu District, roughly 15 km from the city centre, the airport was designed by MAD Architects with a bird-shaped terminal of about 12,000 square metres. The runway and eight aircraft stands can accommodate aircraft such as the Boeing 737, Airbus A320 and COMAC C919.
Initial services connect Lishui with Beijing Capital and Shanghai Pudong, with more domestic routes planned across China. The terminal supports facial recognition boarding and luggage tracking, and check-in closes 20 minutes before departure.
The airport is reached by airport bus, K3 city bus, taxis, ride-hailing and car rental, making onward travel to the city centre and destinations such as Qingtian and Jinyun straightforward.
