About Linyi Qiyang International Airport
Linyi Qiyang International Airport is the main civil airport serving Linyi, a city in southern Shandong Province, China. Located in Hedong District about 7 km from the city centre, the airport functions as a regional gateway for domestic routes and a limited number of international services.
First established in 1958 as the earliest civil airport in Shandong Province, the airport was expanded in the 1990s and resumed commercial operations on 26 December 1998. It was later renamed from Linyi Shubuling Airport to Linyi Qiyang Airport, and its newest domestic terminal opened in December 2025.
The airport now operates two passenger terminals: Terminal 2 for domestic flights and Terminal 1 for international and regional flights. Ground transport includes public bus K36, taxis, ride-hailing services and road links to central Linyi and nearby areas.
With passenger facilities including dining, shops, lounges and waiting areas, the airport supports both leisure and business travel and serves as a convenient entry point for the Linyi region.
