About Libo Airport
Qiannan Libo Airport is a regional domestic airport serving Libo County and the wider Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in southern Guizhou Province. It opened in 2007 and is classified as a 4C tourism-focused regional airport.
The airport has a single passenger terminal and one runway, which was extended to 2,600 meters during a modernization project completed in the early 2020s. It supports domestic flights to a number of Chinese cities and mainly serves visitors traveling to Libo's natural attractions.
Located southwest of Libo County town, the airport is roughly 13 km from the center by road. Airport shuttle buses run between the terminal and Libo Coach Station in about 30 minutes, while taxis complete the journey in about 25 minutes.
The compact single-level terminal keeps arrivals and departures simple, with parking and basic passenger services on site. As a regional gateway, it offers a practical starting point for reaching Libo and scenic spots such as the Xiaoqikong area.
