Kulob International Airport is the main airport serving Kulob, a city in the Khatlon Region of southern Tajikistan. It sits about 6 km from the city centre and around 203 km southeast of the capital, Dushanbe, making it a key air gateway for the surrounding region.
The airport has a single asphalt runway and one passenger terminal. Its infrastructure has been modernized over time, including a new departure hall in 2006, a major runway overhaul in 2008, and a second floor added to the departure terminal in 2014 to increase passenger capacity.
International service has focused primarily on connections between Kulob and Moscow, with daily operations on the Kulob–Moscow route restored and expanded in 2024. The airport provides essential passenger services, security screening, ground handling and onward road connections to the city.
