Khwai River Airport is a small bush airstrip in the North-West District of Botswana, near the village of Khwai. It serves safari lodges and camps in the Khwai Concession and the northern reaches of the Moremi Game Reserve.
The airstrip has a single gravel runway used mainly by light aircraft such as Cessna Grand Caravans and other bush planes operated by safari charter companies. Scheduled charter flights connect Khwai with Maun and Kasane, the main regional gateways.
Khwai River Airport lies about 100–120 km by road from Maun and around 4 km from the Moremi Game Reserve north gate. Road transfers typically take 2–3 hours, while light-aircraft hops from Maun usually take around 30–45 minutes.
