The airport is located near Argos Orestiko, roughly 12 km south of central Kastoria. It operates through a single passenger terminal and two aircraft parking stands, handling primarily domestic flights within Greece.
The current terminal has been in use since the late 1980s, and in 2002 a new, longer runway was opened to international standards, allowing the airport to accommodate larger aircraft types.
