Kandla Airport, also known as Gandhidham Airport, is a small domestic airport serving the Kutch district of Gujarat, India. It supports the nearby Deendayal Port and the industrial towns of Gandhidham and Kandla, connecting the region mainly to Mumbai and other domestic hubs.
Located north of Kandla and close to Gandhidham, the airport was established in the late 1950s to complement maritime trade at the port. The compact facility spans about 268 acres and has a single terminal building designed to handle roughly 100 passengers at a time.
The airport is around 10 km from Gandhidham city centre and can be reached by taxi, auto-rickshaw or pre-arranged transport, with Bhuj roughly 47–50 km away for travellers continuing into Kutch.
