Kamphaeng Saen Airport is a military airfield and Royal Thai Air Force base serving Nakhon Pathom Province in central Thailand. Established on 12 December 1969, it has long functioned as a flying training base and continues to support military pilot training, government flights and limited general aviation activity.
Located in Kamphaeng Saen District, the airport sits about 13 km northwest of Nakhon Pathom city and roughly 80–100 km northwest of Bangkok. It lies near the Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen Campus and is also within reasonable road reach of Kanchanaburi to the west.
The airfield has a single concrete runway aligned 03/21 and measuring approximately 2,743 m in length, supported by an instrument landing system and other navigation aids for training and turboprop operations. Passenger infrastructure is modest, with one small terminal building rather than a large commercial passenger complex.
Road travel is the main onward option, as there are no scheduled airline services. Personnel and authorized visitors generally use pre-arranged vehicles, private transfers, taxis or rental cars to reach Nakhon Pathom, Kamphaeng Saen town, Bangkok and other parts of the region.
