Kaili Huangping Airport is a domestic regional airport serving Kaili, the seat of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture in Guizhou Province. Opened on October 2, 2013, it was developed as a 4C-grade civil airport to improve air access to southeastern Guizhou.
Located in Huangping County, the airport lies about 12 km from the Huangping county seat and about 54 km from central Kaili. It has a single passenger terminal of roughly 3,500 square meters, a 2,600-meter runway and three aircraft stands, supporting Boeing 737- and Airbus A320-family aircraft.
Domestic routes connect the airport with destinations such as Guiyang, Xi'an, Hangzhou and Chengdu, making it a practical entry point for visitors traveling to the area's Miao and Dong ethnic villages. Shuttle buses link the airport with Kaili, Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, Shibing and Zhenyuan, while local bus and taxi services serve Huangping.
