Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport is the main airport serving Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province in eastern China. Opened in 1992, it has grown into one of the province's principal civil aviation hubs and supports both domestic and international travel across the region.
The airport lies in Yaoqiang Subdistrict, Licheng District, about 33 km northeast of central Jinan. It operates from a single integrated terminal that handles domestic and international flights, and serves as a base for airlines including Shandong Airlines, China Eastern Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines. A larger second terminal is under construction as part of the airport's expansion.
Ground connections include airport shuttle buses to central Jinan and the railway stations, taxis, and intercity coaches to nearby cities such as Zibo, Tai'an and Dezhou. Jinan Metro Line 3 also links the airport with the wider city, providing a direct rail connection from a station next to Terminal 1.
