Ikerasaarsuk Heliport (QRY)

Ikerasaarsuk Heliport is a small settlement heliport serving the village of Ikerasaarsuk in Qeqertalik municipality, western Greenland. Operated as a helistop, it provides a seasonal air link for one of the region's smallest communities.

Air Greenland serves the heliport under a government contract, operating helicopter flights mainly in winter and spring to Kangaatsiaq and Iginniarfik. In the summer months, the village is typically reached by sea through Diskoline ferry connections to Aasiaat, Kangaatsiaq and other settlements around Disko Bay.

The heliport lies slightly east of the settlement on the Alanngorsua peninsula, about 35 km south of Kangaatsiaq and 12 km west of Iginniarfik. It has no terminal building and uses a circular gravel landing area rather than conventional airport infrastructure.

Because it is a helistop, on-site facilities are limited, and passengers board or disembark directly at the landing area before continuing into the village. Travel is seasonal, so visitors should plan onward journeys around the winter helicopter schedule or the summer ferry services.
