About Hefei Xinqiao International Airport
Hefei Xinqiao International Airport is the main international airport serving Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province in eastern China. Opened on 30 May 2013, it replaced the former Hefei Luogang Airport and became the city's principal gateway for domestic and international travel.
Located around 32 km from central Hefei, the airport connects the city with major destinations across China and a growing network of international routes. Passenger services currently operate through a single terminal, Terminal 1, while a larger Terminal 2 is under construction as part of an expansion designed to increase capacity.
The airport is linked to the city by airport shuttle bus lines, taxis, private transfers, car rental and road connections. Travelers can also use free shuttle buses from selected metro stations, with further rail links planned as the airport area develops.
With restaurants, cafés, shops, passenger lounges, free Wi-Fi and other passenger services, Hefei Xinqiao International Airport serves as a convenient gateway to Hefei and the wider Anhui region.
