Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport is the main international airport serving Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province in southwest China. Opened in 1997, it acts as an important gateway for domestic and international travel and serves as a hub for Colorful Guizhou Airlines.
The airport operates three passenger terminals. Terminal 1 handles international departures and arrivals, while Terminal 2 and the newer Terminal 3, opened in 2021, manage domestic flights for different groups of airlines. A second runway was added with the third-phase expansion, strengthening the airport's role in the region.
Located about 11 km east of central Guiyang, the airport is connected to the city by Metro Line 2, airport buses, taxis, private transfers and road links, allowing travellers to reach the city centre and continue to destinations across Guizhou.
