About Glauber de Andrade Rocha Airport
Glauber de Andrade Rocha Airport is the main airport serving Vitória da Conquista, in the southwest of Bahia, Brazil. Opened in July 2019, it replaced the city's former airport and consolidated commercial aviation into a modern single-terminal facility located near the BR-116 highway.
Situated about 18 km from the city centre, the airport connects Vitória da Conquista with São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Salvador through airlines such as Azul, LATAM and GOL. It serves both leisure and business travellers visiting southwest Bahia and nearby areas of northern Minas Gerais.
The compact passenger terminal brings check-in, arrivals and ground transportation together in one building, making the airport easy to navigate. Access to the city centre is available by taxi, ride-hailing apps, local buses and private transfers.
With a passenger lounge, cafés, shops, parking and onward travel options, the airport functions as a key gateway for the interior of Bahia.
