El Tepual International Airport is the main airport serving Puerto Montt and the Los Lagos Region in southern Chile. Located approximately 16 km west of central Puerto Montt, it connects the region with domestic destinations and acts as an entry point for travelers heading to Patagonia, Chiloé and the Chilean lake district.
The airport's original terminal was inaugurated in 1963, and the current passenger terminal opened in February 2010 following a major modernization programme.
