Pupelde Airport is a small public aerodrome serving Ancud, a Pacific port city on the northern shore of Chiloé Island in Chile’s Los Lagos Region. Also known as Aeródromo Pupelde, it carries the IATA code ZUD and ICAO code SCAC and is located about 8 km southeast of central Ancud.
Although it does not handle regular commercial airline traffic, the aerodrome supports general aviation, private flights and training activities, including use by the Club Aéreo de Ancud and the Chilean Air Force. Its single concrete runway is approximately 1,000 m long and serves the local connectivity needs of Ancud and northern Chiloé.
