About Dongyang Hengdian General Airport
Dongyang Hengdian General Airport is a general aviation airport serving Dongyang and the Hengdian area of Zhejiang province. Built in Hengdian Town near the Hengdian World Studios film and tourism district, it began operations in March 2018 and is regarded as China's first town-level airport.
The airport was opened with an 800-metre runway and has since been expanded with a longer runway and upgraded approach systems to support business jet and tourism charter operations. Its infrastructure includes a passenger terminal with an integrated control tower, an aircraft parking apron and hangar facilities.
Located about 18 km south of Dongyang city centre, the airport provides road connections to Hengdian town, Dongyang and nearby Yiwu. Travelers can continue by taxi, private transfer, chauffeur service or rental car.
