About Deqing Moganshan Airport
Deqing Moganshan Airport is a general aviation airport serving Deqing County in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, and the surrounding northern Zhejiang area. Opened in 2018, it became China's first general aviation airport to receive an IATA three-letter code, DEQ, in 2019.
Located in the Moganshan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Leidian Town, the airport is the closest general aviation airport to Hangzhou. It sits about 40 km from Huzhou city centre and roughly 40–45 km from Hangzhou's main urban area, and it supports pilot training, emergency rescue, firefighting, medical, sightseeing and aircraft test flights, with a 600-metre runway and a single terminal building.
The airport functions as a regional general aviation hub for short-haul commuter, charter and special-mission operations linking Deqing and Huzhou with destinations across the Yangtze River Delta.
Road connections link the airport to Huzhou, Deqing town, Hangzhou and the Moganshan scenic area, with taxis, private transfers, chauffeur services and rental cars available for onward travel.
