About Dali Fengyi Airport
Dali Fengyi Airport is the main airport serving Dali and the wider Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture in western Yunnan. Opened in 1995 as Dali Huangcaoba Airport and renamed Dali Fengyi Airport in 2022, it is a plateau airport at about 2,155 metres above sea level and serves as a domestic regional and tourism gateway.
Located near Fengyi Town, roughly 13 km from Dali's Xiaguan city centre and about 3 km west of Erhai Lake, the airport is a hub for Lucky Air. Its terminal complex includes the T2 main terminal with domestic and international areas and the T1 business terminal, supporting flights to major Chinese cities as well as international services to destinations such as Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Hanoi and Hong Kong.
The airport is connected to Dali by airport bus, taxi, private transfers and road links. City terminal services operate from Dali Ancient Town, Xiaguan and Dali Port, while taxis and private transfers provide access to the city centre, Dali Old Town, Erhai Lake and nearby towns.
