Corfu Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport is the main international airport serving Corfu, also known as Kerkyra, in Greece's Ionian Islands. Opened in 1937 and named after Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first head of state of independent Greece, it is a key gateway for visitors travelling to Corfu Town and the island's many beach resorts.
The airport is located about 3 km south of Corfu Town on the island's east coast and operates a single passenger terminal.
