Celaque Airport is a small regional airport serving Gracias, a colonial town in the Lempira Department of western Honduras. Inaugurated in 2013, it was built to improve access to the western highlands and support tourism around Gracias and nearby Celaque National Park.
The airport has a single compact passenger terminal and an asphalt runway of about 1,300 metres, suitable for small aircraft such as ATR turboprops. It operates as a domestic gateway, offering a simple arrival and departure experience with limited facilities on site.
Located roughly 2 km from the centre of Gracias, the airport is easily reached by taxi or private transfer. From there, travellers can continue to the town's hotels, the historic centre, and destinations across the Lempira region, including Santa Rosa de Copán and the Celaque mountain area.
