About Cacoal Airport
Cacoal Airport, officially known as Capital do Café Airport, is the main airport serving the city of Cacoal and the central region of Rondônia in northern Brazil. Opened on 27 March 2010, it provides a domestic air link for Cacoal and surrounding municipalities.
Located about 6.5 km from the city center, the airport has a single passenger terminal and a 2,100-meter runway. The terminal was expanded and modernized in recent years, and in March 2023 the airport received ANAC certification to operate under instrument flight rules, improving reliability during poor weather.
Azul Linhas Aéreas currently serves the airport with domestic flights to Cuiabá and Campinas (Viracopos), connecting Cacoal to wider Brazil. Taxis, private transfers, rental cars and road links connect the airport to the city center and nearby towns.
With its compact terminal, parking, food and shop areas, the airport functions as a practical regional gateway for visitors traveling to and from central Rondônia.
