Bengbu Renheji Airport is a dual-use military and civil airfield serving Bengbu, a major city in northern Anhui Province. It carries the IATA code BFU and provides a link between the city and a small number of civil air services alongside its military role.
The airport is located near Renheji village in Qinji Township, about 8 km in a straight line from downtown Bengbu and roughly 11 km by road. The original Bengbu airfield dates back to 1926, and the current Renheji site was developed as a modernized dual-use facility, opening for military use in August 2002.
The airfield operates a single runway of approximately 2,600 metres with a 4C flight zone classification. Civil passenger infrastructure has remained limited, and the airport's terminal and service footprint is more modest than that of major commercial airports in the region.
