Ben Slimane Airport is a general and business aviation airport serving the town of Ben Slimane and the wider Casablanca-Settat region. The airfield was originally developed in the early 1950s as a United States Strategic Air Command base and was handed back to Moroccan control in 1960.
Located about 12.5 km northwest of Ben Slimane, the airport sits between Casablanca and Rabat and close to the coastal industrial centre of Mohammedia. It has a single asphalt runway of around 3,046 metres and a compact terminal, and has been developed as a base for private and business aviation.
The airport is reached by road from Ben Slimane and connects to the regional network serving Casablanca, approximately 45 km away, and Rabat, approximately 72 km away. Private transfers, taxis and rental cars are the main onward travel options.
