About Aosta Valley Airport
Aosta Valley Airport is the main airport serving the city of Aosta and the Aosta Valley region in northwest Italy. Opened to national and international traffic in November 1995, the airport is located in Saint-Christophe, roughly 3 km from central Aosta, and is owned by the Autonomous Region of Aosta Valley.
The airport is primarily a general aviation gateway, with air taxi, business aviation, helicopter rescue, civil protection and limited seasonal commercial and charter activity. It has a single terminal and one asphalt runway (09/27) measuring approximately 1,499 metres.
Located close to the A5 motorway and the SS26 road, the airport offers convenient road access to Aosta and the surrounding area. Travelers can continue by taxi, private transfer, car rental or local bus to the city centre, nearby ski resorts, Courmayeur and other destinations across the Aosta Valley.
Despite its small size, the airport provides essential passenger facilities, including waiting areas, Wi-Fi, a small bar and car rental services, making it a practical entry point for visitors arriving in the Italian Alps.
