About the Event
The 65th edition of Salone del , organised by Federlegno Arredo Eventi, runs from 13 to 18 April 2027 at Rho Fiera Milano and presents the latest in furniture, furnishing accessories, kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, office solutions and interior design. Under President Maria Porro and General Manager Marco Sabetta, the fair functions as a meeting point for the industry and a platform for new business opportunities, prototypes and ideas shaping future living.
The programme brings together eight complementary exhibitions. Salone Internazionale del Mobile focuses on furniture, while the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition covers homeware, decorative objects and textiles. Workplace3.0 is devoted to office furnishing and workspaces, and presents design products and technical solutions for interiors. Together they give visitors a broad view of the design supply chain, from finished pieces to project-based solutions.
Euroluce, the biennial lighting exhibition, returns for 2027 and is joined by the second edition of The Euroluce International Lighting Forum, directed by Annalisa Rosso. Built around the concept Light for Life. Light for Spaces, the forum examines the role of light in wellbeing, sustainability, energy, nature and architecture in The Forest of Space arena designed by Sou Fujimoto. Early confirmed participants include lighting studios Speirs Major Light Architecture and Fisher Marantz Stone.
A major new addition is Salone Contract, created to connect companies with architects, interior designers, developers and investors involved in large-scale projects in hospitality, residential, retail and workplace sectors. Its masterplan, designed by Rem Koolhaas and David Gianotten of OMA, replaces a conventional stand layout with a structure organised around the Dome, Podium, Project Space and B2B areas. Salone Raritas returns for a second edition curated by Annalisa Rosso with exhibition design by Formafantasma, exploring limited editions, unique pieces, antiques and high-end craftsmanship, with India Mahdavi among the first names announced.
SaloneSatellite, founded and curated by Marva Griffin Wilshire, continues to connect designers under 35 with companies and manufacturers, supported by the SaloneSatellite Permanent Collection of more than 400 objects. Entry is structured around different visitor groups: professionals may attend from 13 to 18 April, suppliers and producers from 16 to 18 April, students from 16 to 18 April, and the general public on 17 and 18 April.
Beyond the Milan event, the 2027 edition extends through the Salone World Tour, with stops in cities including London, Paris, Madrid, Singapore, Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Riyadh, Lagos, Cape Town and Mexico City, plus collaborations with Art Basel in Miami Beach and Hong Kong. Attendees can expect product launches, curated installations, business meetings, forums and networking opportunities with an international design community.
