About Anyang Yindu Airport
Anyang Yindu Airport is a general aviation airport serving Anyang, a historic city in northern Henan Province. The airfield dates back to the 1930s and has changed roles several times; today it operates as an aviation sports training and competition centre under the General Administration of Sport of China.
The airport is located in Beiguan District, within the grounds of the Anyang Aviation Sports School, about 8 km from central Anyang. It has two short parallel runways and a compact terminal building, and it mainly supports gliding, parachuting, flight training and other general aviation activity rather than scheduled airline services.
For scheduled commercial flights, travellers in the region use Anyang Hongqiqu Airport, which opened south of the city in 2023. Anyang Yindu Airport therefore remains focused on general aviation and aviation sport, while still serving as a small entry point for charter and private flights.
