Adolino Bedin Regional Airport is the main airport serving Sorriso, one of the leading agricultural municipalities in northern Mato Grosso, Brazil. Opened in 2016, it supports business travel connected to the region's agribusiness sector and provides an air link for residents and visitors. The airport has been managed by Infraero since December 2023.
Located along the BR-163 highway, about 10 to 12 km from downtown Sorriso, the airport primarily handles domestic flights. Regular commercial flights link Sorriso with the state capital Cuiabá, and the airport is being modernized to support additional routes and larger aircraft.
The airport operates a single passenger terminal of about 1,380 m² with one boarding gate and three check-in positions. A larger passenger terminal of roughly 6,000 m² is planned, with construction scheduled to begin in January 2026, alongside improvements to the aircraft apron, taxiways and vehicle parking.
Taxis, private transfers, chauffeur services, rental cars and the BR-163 road link make it relatively straightforward to continue from the airport to the Sorriso city centre and other towns across the region.
