EXPO REAL 2026

EXPO REAL is Europe's leading trade fair for real estate, investment and infrastructure. The 2026 edition takes place from October 5 to 7 at the Messe München exhibition center in Munich and gives the industry a central meeting point for market transparency, dealmaking and strategic exchange during a period of continuing transformation.

Around 40,000 experts from the real estate industry are expected, together with representatives of cities, countries, regions and infrastructure operators. The event spans seven exhibition halls and covers the full value chain, from project development and financing to asset and property management, as well as technology and infrastructure topics. Key market segments include housing, logistics, retail and hospitality.

A central focus of the program is investable infrastructure. The new InfrastructureNow forum addresses energy, digital and social infrastructure and brings investors, project developers, operators, financiers, municipalities and political decision-makers into direct dialogue. Discussions cover investment strategies, financing models, partnerships, market trends, regulatory frameworks and practical examples.

In Hall B3, the Grand Plaza serves as the hub for retail concepts and urban supply structures, while the Flexible Housing area explores forward-looking housing solutions for demographic change, changing lifestyles, migration and resource scarcity. The Transform & Beyond area in Hall A3 presents technologies and business models for decarbonization, smart buildings, artificial intelligence, robotics, digitalization and district energy solutions, with established companies and startups exhibiting side by side.

The conference program features around 400 speakers and opens with a keynote and panel discussion on artificial intelligence, agent systems and real estate valuation. Further sessions examine collaboration between startups and corporates, innovation programs in the real estate industry and developments in Switzerland. The DREA Award for pioneering real estate solutions is presented on October 5, and after-work networking events continue the conversation on both trade fair evenings.

Visitors can use the curated conference program, networking events, guided tours and the event app, and can arrange meetings in a dedicated networking area with appointment scheduling. The final day, October 7, includes CareerDay for students and young professionals, making the event relevant both for established market players and for emerging talent.
