Walter Braedt Segú Airport is a private aerodrome serving the beach towns and resorts of northern Peru. Built in 2019 and receiving regular flights since 2020, it provides a convenient entry point for travelers heading to the Máncora and Punta Sal coast.
Located at kilometre 1169 of the Panamericana Norte, about 3 km north of Máncora, the aerodrome gives travelers easy access to Máncora, Punta Sal, Los Órganos, Vichayito and Zorritos. Its paved runway measures 1,750 metres in length and 30 metres in width, allowing small commercial, charter and private aircraft to operate.
The compact passenger terminal sits alongside a control tower and includes a boarding area, waiting room, restrooms and a baggage collection space. The aerodrome is used mainly by tourists and by national and international travelers exploring the beaches of Peru's far north.
From the airport, travelers can continue by private transfer, taxi or rental car along the Panamericana Norte to Máncora and the surrounding coastal resorts, making it a practical gateway for beach holidays in the region.
