Ustupo Airport (UTU)

Ustupo Airport is a small secondary airfield serving the island town of Ustupo in the Guna Yala comarca, formerly known as San Blas, in Panama. It primarily supports community access to this remote Caribbean coastal region and handles limited domestic air traffic.

The airport is located on the mainland about 800 metres southwest of Ustupo island and is reached from the town by boat. It has a single concrete runway of about 450 metres, aligned 16/34, and sits in an isolated area with no road connection to the rest of the country.

Scheduled commercial service has been very limited or absent, and the airfield mainly handles occasional domestic and community flights. Because of its remote location, most travelers combine a short flight with a boat transfer to Ustupo or nearby islands.

Facilities are basic, with limited waiting space and few passenger services, so travelers should prepare for a small-island airfield experience and confirm onward boat arrangements in advance.
